The Gallery’s namesake, Laurel Fisher, was one of the six Tate LLC members who built the condominium. She was a passionate arts advocate and envisioned the space to serve as it has since 2006. Local artists have been featured in this space since the building’s completion. The Tate Art Committee arranges for exhibits and hosts a reception for each artist.
